Spain’s Bacce Guitars has a beautiful lineup of instruments, but they also make special boutique one-off instruments as well. This week we’re checking out the Anya 4 Powerbass, which looks like a race car with four strings.
The neck-through bass is built around a five-piece maple and Honduran mahogany neck that’s topped with an ebony fingerboard. Its body, which has wings that are also made of Honduran mahogany, is fitted with a Delano MCFE 4 pickup. Add the HotRod red and white finish along the entire neck and body and you’ve got one speedy little number.
Other features include an Aguilar OBP3 preamp, Mother of Pearl dot inlays, Hipshot tuners, and a Schaller 2000 4D bridge.
