The Story
This week, we’re checking out Bass #001 by Ristic Guitars out of Norway. Handmade by luthier Sasha Ristic, the beautiful bass features neck-through construction with a five-piece maple neck, mahogany body wings, and a curly maple top.
The ebony fretboard has a 14-inch radius with mahogany binding and 24 stainless steel frets. For electronics, Ristic opted for a pair of Delano Xtender 4HE/S, each with series/parallel switches. They feed into an Audere 3-band preamp.
Other features include a Hipshot bridge, Schaller tuners, a zero fret, and an oil natural finish.
