Bass of the Week: Schecter Guitars Corsair Bass

Originally featured August 22, 2022

This week we’re taking a look at Schecter’s take on a thin hollow body. The Corsair comes in black or gold colors with cream multi-ply binding to drive home the old school vibe.

Its body and neck are made from maple with an ebony fretboard fitted with pearloid block inlays. The bass has two EMG TBHZ pickups as well as a 2-band active EQ. Hardware includes a Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece and a WSC KG700 lightweight vintage tuners.
