Mixing retro and modern, Reverend’s Decision bass is their take on the “P/J” style, with the company’s Split Brick pickup in the neck position and their J-Rails in the bridge position. The pickups are blended with a Pan knob, which Reverend says let you go from “funk to thump and all points in between.”
The Decision is built with a korina body and comes in Party Red or Black finishes. On both models, the back and sides are black with cream binding for a classic touch.
The bass has a 34″ scale and bolt-on construction, with a six-bolt plate to keep the neck secure in its pocket and improve sustain.
The neck is a 5-piece laminate with maple and walnut, which is all finished with an amber satin finish while the fingerboard is bound rosewood with a 12″ radius. For hardware, Reverend included a string-thru-body bridge with locking saddles and open gear tuners.
