\"Rischke<\/p>\n

Bass Upfront\u2019s David Sutkin<\/strong> has an astounding bass collection<\/a>. We\u2019ve taken a look at two of his Stradi basses<\/a> before, but he\u2019s just shared his latest addition to the lot. The Rischke Guitars 332 \u201cBrilliant\u201d is the first one to land in the U.S., he tells us, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s a killer bass and I am super stoked to own it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luthier Norbert Rischke calls the 332 \u201cBrilliant\u201d a \u201cbass that couldn\u2019t be more exciting yet more simple.\u201d The bass\u2019s curvy body is built from swamp ash while its neck and fingerboard are Canadian maple. The combination makes for a percussive attack which is captured by a pair of custom H\u00e4ussel humbuckers in walnut covers. The pickups are splittable and a 5-way switch lets you toggle between different tones. <\/p>\n

\"Rischke<\/p>\n

Rischke utilized bolt-on construction for the bass with a super interesting bolt configuration. Other features include Schaller tuners, a Gotoh bridge, and a Metallic Green finish. <\/p>\n
