Luthier Scott Dooley called this bass another learning experience due to its 35-inch scale, preamp modifications, extra neck layers, and special top. <\/p>\n<p>The instrument features a mahogany body with a quilt maple top featuring elegant contouring. Its neck continues the maple and mahogany theme while adding a layer of walnut, as well. The ebony fingerboard has maple binding and has slick oval inlays. <\/p>\n<p>The electronics include Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups and a 3-band preamp by Bartolini.
