The Black Bison by Alpine Guitar is a take on the classic P-bass that is crafted in France using only local woods. This bass comes from Alpine\u2019s custom shop Delachapelle series. Although Alpine is a newer company, their chief luthier is the very talented Matthieu Combe.<\/p>\n<p>For the Black Bison, Alpine utilized French walnut for the body, neck, and fretboard. Its fretboard has a compound radius with 20 frets.
