This week we’re taking a look at his Leo model.

The Leo comes standard as a five-string fretted bass, though options are available. Its contoured ash body is topped by a rich ziricote cap. The bolt-on neck is made from maple and wenge, which is topped with an ebony fingerboard. Carbone inlays the neck with mother of pearl dots for fret markers.

The pickup is the Original Split by MAMA Pickups, who describe it as giving “maximum harmonic complexity and richness” and “ideal for classic vintage sounds.” Other features include ABM single saddles and Kluson tuners.
