Vaughn. Built by luthier Rob Vaughn, the bass is one of his newer models. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis particular bass is the 3rd one of that style I\u2019ve made,\u201d Vaughn says. \u201cIt started out as a concept for a bassist over in Britain named Alysha Moore who got the first one last summer. This bass was completed about the middle of December. I\u2019ve been building basses for about ten years now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vaughn crafted the bass with a chambered sapele body topped with hand-carved flamed maple, a flamed maple neck, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard inlaid with pearloid dots.
