This week we\u2019re checking out the Voodoo Bass from Dream Studio Guitars. Created as a signature model for Jorge Casillas<\/strong> of the Voodoo Glow Skulls, the bass brings old-school tone with a more futuristic body. <\/p>\n

\u201cNo Active Pick Ups, no Ebony Neck; this is old school bass here,\u201d Dream Studios writes. \u201cMaple Neck, Maple Fretboard, and some good old vintage Seymour Duncan P\/J pickups. You don\u2019t get more traditional than this unless you go find yourself an old \u201964 Fender Jazz Bass.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s built with a one-piece swamp ash body made from slow growth wood, which the company says gives you heft and density in tone. Other features include a Hipshot bridge and a matte white finish. <\/p>\n
