Designed in the UK and manufactured in China, the bass centers around a maple body and neck. It comes in a variety of flamed maple finishes as well as flat black or flat white colors, all of which are accented with 5-layer binding.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.notreble.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Chowny-CHB-1-620x272.jpg?resize=620%2C272\" alt=\"Chowny CHB-1\" width=\"620\" height=\"272\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-40671 img-fluid\"><\/p>\n<p>Its ebony fingerboard holds 22 frets and is inlaid with Mother-of-Pearl blocks. The bass has a floating bridge with a chrome bridge plate. Chowny fits the CHB-1 with a pair of Artec vintage style humbuckers. <\/p>\n<p>Finally, Chowny offers the model with the options of a pickguard or no pickguard and left or right-handed versions.
