Poor, who is renowned for his pickups, designed and manufactured the bass in the early \u201990s. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.notreble.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Lane-Poor-Minima-Body-lead.jpg?resize=620%2C350\" alt=\"Lane Poor Minima Bass\" title=\"Lane Poor Minima Bass\" width=\"620\" height=\"350\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23868 img-fluid\"><\/p>\n<p>Besides the obvious headless and stepped-tuner body design, the Minima had a graphite fingerboard with special epoxy \u201cfrets\u201d, which as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eclecticbass.com\/\">Bob Gollihur<\/a> put it, \u201clarge flat protrusions off the board.\u201d The super strong epoxy is said to never wear down or need replacing. <\/p>\n<p>The Minima was armed with Lane Poor\u2019s soap bar pickup, though some of the few hundred produced have variations in pickups.
